Toast Function
I just bought this today and am super excited to make it work for me. My question: Does it shut off on the toast function or just stay on until you pull out the toast? I tried shade 4 and it didn’t shut off. Is there a chart for shades? I like my toast light, but my husband likes it crunchy.

the temp is off preheat peeps at 300 degrees takes longer to preheat

Good Physical Appearance, Lousy Functionality
I like the appearance of the toaster oven. The buttons have to be pressed very hard to function. Most toaster ovens automatically reset when the doors open; however this oven does not automatically reset when you open the door. the shelf locations are preset and not adjustable.

Issues with French doors
Was gifted this oven 2 years ago and have loved it until recently have not been able to close the French doors. Upon further inspection, it appears the bottom hinge (slide?) has warped and is preventing the doors from closing. Still waiting on a response from customer service.

Review of the answer question function
I asked about the count down clock function and the answer I was given was a photocopy of the owners instructions. So the real answer to my original question is no. This unit is not able to show how much time remains before the toast is finally fully toasted. So just guess when to start cooking your breakfast eggs.

For Toasting bread you may select -Select the mode Toast -Use the temp arrow keys to select the desired temperature. -Use the timer arrow keys to select the desired time. -Press the Start button. -Once toasting end you will then heard a beep sound, indicating that the toasting is done. Please be advice: Different types of bread require different settings. Lighter breads and waffles require a lighter setting. Darker breads, muffins, and English muffins require a darker setting.

***Beware Defective PRODUCT****
I have this toaster oven. I preheated the oven to 450 degrees and when I went to put in the dish as I was placing the dish in the toaster oven the French doors closed on my arms Burning my arms! The doors have some sort of mechanism that causes the doors to automatically close which a major hazard when they are HOT! I have burns on both forearms because these defective doors automatically closed on me while placing a dish in the toaster oven! This is a major hazard and this product should be recalled!

Not as expected
I bought this oven from Costco, just over a year ago. Unfortunately, it’s been a disappointment. The pizza button is a waste of time. You end up with undercooked in the middle and burned edges. This morning I tried to bake cinnamon rolls. Again the tops are over cooked while the bottom half is still undercooked dough. it doesn’t heat evenly. The digital up and down buttons are frustrating. I’m not a child and this is more like a child’s toy than a professional adult oven. I’m looking for a replacement. It’s ok for cooking small side dishes or chicken tenders, frozen fries...

It’s the aluminum foil. The instructions say not to use foil on the racks or in the baking dishes/pans. That’s likely why you’re having issues with uneven cooking, doneness, and burnt edges.

Notice that the cinnamon rolls were placed on loose aluminum foil on top of another pan! Too much material on the bottom while the rolls are totally exposed on the top. I would suggest putting the rolls directly on some kind of cooking pan or better yet on a pyres glass pie plate and watch the much better results happen. One more very important note...cooking on aluminum any more is a very bad idea and everyone needs to educate themselves on the reasons. Aluminum is in the brains of all alzheimers patients and it easily comes into your food when heated!! No more aluminum cooking folks!!! Health first! Cheers

As a custom cake decorator and business owner, I purchased 4 of these from QVC. With all ovens, you have to test the temperatures of what your making. I know that a normal cake can bake at 350 however, I use 325 to get the perfect baked cakes and other bakery items. I never bake what the manufacturer says on the packages, it's usually to high or you have to adjust your cooking times based on your location or elevations etc. As with cinnamon rolls, times may need to be reduced because of the smaller oven area, but with all things it's trial and error as to what works for you. I love these, and just bought 2 more on QVC today and other cake decorators I mentioned it to as well! The one thing would I would love to see maybe a tad bigger to accommodate a 16" round cake pan or may a regular sized cookie sheet!
I already know about the Stop/ Cancel button. I read manuals completely before I use electronics. I'm a licensed architect and licensed structural engineer. Knowing the complete operations is important to me.
