Caused eye irritation

I've used many Plantscription products with no problem. I also have used other brand Retinol products, including eye cream. But this one cause irritation of my eyelids and skin around my eyes, like a slight burning sensation.

Had a bad reaction

Skincare is so personal and everyone's skin reacts differently. But my eyelids swelled up like crazy when I put this on. It took me a while to narrow down everything to make sure it was the cream, but I am 100% sure after eliminating everything else I used on my face. It's really hard to have an expensive product go in the garbage but I literally cannot wear this.

Extreme dryness nobody talks about

I started using this eye cream four weeks ago, following the instructions, but the experience resulted in terrible dryness with crepey skin that folds into many tiny fine lines under my eyes, which I never had before. The stable wrinkles I was trying to tackle also remained unchanged. All this despite I was moisturising my skin to reduce irritation and dryness. I've stopped using this wrinkle correction cream completely two weeks ago and have switched to using a good amount of rich moisturiser with glycerin and ceramides twice a day to help with the dehydration, dryness and new condition of my skin. So far I haven't seen any visible improvement or a return to my previous condition. Especially after showering, my under eye skin now looks extremely dry and covered in many tiny lines. I'm freaking out because my 'old beautiful skin' with just a few fine lines seems never to come back. I can only praise the design, smell and texture of this cream, the rest of it is such a nightmare for me.

Not what I was expecting!

I thought this was the eye treatment cream I have been using for years-just maybe updated packaging. Unfortunately I should have read the product description more carefully. This eye cream has left my under eye area puffy, red, scratchy and very irritated. I had to stop using it after a couple of days.Will be returning if I can-so surprised by this uncomfortable reaction. Wish it hadn't been changed as I've used the former eye treatment cream for many years. So disappointing.

This eye moisturizer has Encapsulated Retinol to improve the look of lines near the eye area. For the first 2 weeks, start using 3x/week at night and increase to 2x/day as skin builds tolerance. Use sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using it. You may experience mild dryness or flaking skin. These conditions are normal, temporary indications that the formula is working. This product is not doing what it should.

I followed the instructions which says to use 3times a week for two weeks then twice daily. The instructions do say that there may be flaking of the product initially. Almos 3 weeks later and there is still visible flaking of the product on my skin. There is also a slight burning sensation and my skin under my eyes does not appear any smoother. I will not buy again.
