Simple but Attractive
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Oneida. I have used solely Oneida flatware my entire adult life. They are durable and have the look I love for my kitchen. It had been 7 years since I bought flatware last and after 3 kids, many pieces in my set were missing and the entire set needed to be replaced. I usually go for a matte look but wanted to try a shiny set this time. I love the weight and the simple design. My only complaint is that teaspoons are SMALL. They are almost the same size as the training silverware spoons I got for my little. The serving spoon is also only a smidge bigger than the tablespoons and could afford to be a little larger so its more conveniently identifiable. I also wish the serving set came with a slotted spoon. Other than that, I love the set and am pleased.

Simple flatware for everyday use

It's a great replacement of my current set. What's really nice is while it is service for 8, it includes 16 teaspoons! It's easy to clean and should hold up to regular use.

Elegant flatware set!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These look and feel so fancy! They have a good weight and balance to them, which makes them seem more high-end than they are. I love how the neck of the spoons and forks narrows so gracefully. I saw some reviews mention that the small spoons are too small and the dinner spoons are too big. I attached a picture that shows the difference between the Icarus small spoon and one from the set I've been using for the past decade. There is a noticeable size difference, and I was fully prepared to dock a star if it felt "too small" while I was using it, but I needn't have worried. I don't think it's too small. It does feel different in my hand than my old spoon, but that's to be expected with any new set. The dinner spoon might be a touch too big if you have a small mouth, but it worked just fine for me. I also REALLY appreciate that there are twice as many small spoons in this set because we always run out of them quickly in our house. (I have 4 young children.) I'm eager to see how this set holds up over the months.

Great Look, Great Weight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set of cutlery came very well packaged. All the cutlery inside the box was individually wrapped to protect them, then each type of cutlery was rubber banded together. It came with 8 of each type of cutlery plus an additional 8 small spoons which is wonderful since that is what we use the most of. These are dishwasher safe, which is super convenient. I’ve washed them multiple times in the dishwasher, and they come out looking great every time. As a note, the small spoons are slightly smaller than most small spoons I’ve used/owned, while the larger spoons are slightly larger than most large spoons I’ve used/owned. They still work great, I just wanted to let others know. What I love most is the weight of each cutlery. They have a great weight in the hand, not too heavy and not light. That is what I like most about this cutlery set. The only con I’ve noticed is that since these are a shiny stainless steel, most of the time they do leave fingerprints where they have been touched. It hasn’t been a huge issue, but may be to some. Overall, I really like these cutlery, and look forward to enjoying them for years to come!

Nice flatware set
I like the Icarus set except for the soup spoons. They seem large enough to use as serving spoons and much too large for soup. I do like the smooth rounded handles. This design is very similar to the Oneida Omni set I received as wedding gifts 40 years ago. I've tried to buy additional pieces as many have been lost over the years but they are no longer available. I really like that the Icarus set comes with 16 teaspoons.
Perfect for our family

This flatware set feels substantial and won’t bend or warp by just looking at it. It is a service for 8 but has 16 teaspoons, which I think is great since that’s every one’s favorite sized spoon. Now my daughter has twice as many to loose or leave in her room!
