Excalibur is the best dehydrator and company!
A friend gave me my first Excalibur because he was upgrading to the same brand but a bigger unit. I LOVED my unit but gave it to a young mom with 3 kids that wanted it so badly. So I bought a bigger 9 tray Excaliber with the timer unit and I’ve used it for over 20 years. I’m buying my second one only because I’m a prepper and need a second dehydrator. Marjorie Wildcraft, the worlds best known lady wildlife survivalist also uses the Excalibur! You can’t go wrong with the 9 tray unit with the timer!

Soooo nice!!!!
I had a small round Nesco prior to getting the Excalibur. The difference is night and day! Everything dries so quickly. It is so much more efficient. No timer is needed. Things are dry when they are dry. Save your money on the timer. Make sure if you purchase, you can go all the way up to 155°. Best decision I ever made.

I love it
I have had my 9 tray with temp & timer. Plastic trays and I love it. Along with fruit, veg and herbs I use it on low for raising my bread. I have used it to dry glue on crafts. I have used this machine for 8-10 years. Can't remember exactly. I also wash trays and liners in the dishwasher.

Easy to use!
I just bought this dehydrator and tried it out. Works great and super easy to use. I decorate cookies and this definitely helps cut the drying time for the different layers. I also got the tray sheets so my cookies don't dry out when I am drying the icing. I love it so far!

Works great!
My daughter bought a 9 tray Excaliber about 25 years ago and used it extensively for several years before she talked me in to getting one for myself. Very good decision! I have used it for so many different things and find it to be a great unit. I make a lot of beef jerky but also dry fruits, especially banana chips for my grandson. I hate cleaning the trays though as they aren't a convenient size for my sink or dishwasher. With the jerky, especially, the grease from the meat is hard to remove from the tray and the mesh layer. Other than the cleaning issue it's a very fine product and neither of us has ever had any issues with it.
