Great bag, but...

I have several Ols Trend Bags. this purse is the only one that had a problem with the brads in the handle.

Wayyyy Too Small for the Price

It is so small that I had to return it. Too expensive to be a lunchbox.

Nice purse but it broke in two weeks

There is a lot to like about this bag it broke only two weeks after I purchased it. It didn't get a ton of use - and nothing out of the ordinary for a purse. One of the brass 'Chicago fasteners' that allows the bag to open and close, popped out. I am trying to get it fixed instead of returning it - because I do like the bag. Pros: it has a structured top, which has become a must for me It helps me stay organized by virtue of the inside pockets and interior space. The bag is a tiny bit smaller than most of my other bags, so I have to be careful about the things I carry inside - which, for me, is a help. Cons: The buckle closure is cumbersome. Fishing inside for my wallet isn't as quick as I'd like - and there is no outside pocket into which I can slip my phone. I'm still looking for the perfect purse, but this one comes pretty close as long as the hardware stays put.

NICE!

I like this bag for its uniqueness. Ordered the grey which, to me, looks black … maybe in bright sunlight? But the contrast of the brown leather buckle and short handle add interest. Solid, heavy brass hardware. The bag locks securely, with a push-lock hidden under the front buckle strap, so no one is getting into this bag without your knowledge. However, the buckle works if you prefer to access the bag that way. The entire top pops open on two simple hinges, to 11” long x 4” wide, so you can see and find everything inside. I like that! The dimensions provided in the description are correct, except the way it sits on a surface is probably more like 4.5” wide. The shortest adjusted length for the long strap is 21”; I will drill another hole to make it shorter. The strap is imprinted along the sides, but not stitched, so it can be cut off at the end without making a mess. All in all, a high quality, roomy bag that’s not so huge.
