A very cute selection perfect for gift or for your own use. The plates are a perfect size for me personally, especially for dinner. it's a little heavy because of the material. other than that, I love how it's deepen the space.

The Missing Piece to my Dinnerware Collection
I love these dinner bowls! This is my first time using them, but they are the perfect hybrid between a plate and bowl. They are a better option than plates for meals that have a liquid/watery component like pasta sauce, or polenta. The bowls have a pretty gray speckled interior and the outside of the bowl is tan and has an unfinished clay texture. I love the neutral color palette and how sturdy they are. I know that I will use them often!

Dinner 'bowls' are a winner
The Oake Clay Dinner Bowl set completely works for my needs. I will admit that when I first opened the box they were smaller than I expected. I thought 'dinner' bowls would be closer in size to dinner plates but they are actually closer to the size of a lunch plate. After using however, the size was no longer disappointing - these are the perfect size for a dinner-sized salad. The edges are slightly curved (so you can't serve SOUP in them) to make sure nothing falls off, the color is very neutral which works with my current motif and they feel very solid. The outside of the bowl is slightly rough while the interior is very smooth. Overall - I am very happy with this selection and foresee using them on a daily basis.

Mid century modern and perfect for those who like earthen product. Its very nicely designed and heavy stone like feel perfect for salad and sides serving. The color is perfect to blend with most of the dinner wears and its dishwasher safes as well.
