This natural bamboo placemat is well made and seems that it will hold well. For the price, it may be expensive if you need more than one placemat. Size is bigger than expected for round placemats so if you have a small dining table this may take too much space.

Unique Natural Bamboo Dining Option
This Oake Bamboo Placemat added a unique bonus to my dining room. The shine from the natural oak is truly on display as shown in my dining room pictures that are attached to this review. Several guests inquired about them and shared how it adds character to the room. I like it because it is very durable, easy to clean, and kid proof. I have one at the moment but definitely looking to add more soon.

just okay…
I like the placemat but it was too big to use with a normal size dinner plate so we chose to use it as a center piece at our kitchen table. The item itself is beautiful and appears to be made well but I would not use as a placemat itself.
Unique, Decorative Mat.
I was really pleased with this product. I’m using as a decorative mat on my coffee table and it really looks good. Wasn’t sure when I ordered it but it’s very unique and I’ve gotten several positive comments from people.

Bamboo Placemat
These are really nice everyday placemats. They are well made and large enough to complement larger dishes. The color is neutral enough to look great on darker wooden tables and provide a nice contrast to lighter wood table. They are thicker than most due to the wooden construction. I like them I wish they had sent me two. Now I need to buy at least one other one.

Wow! What a beautiful placemat! To be honest, I did not even know a placemat could look this good. It has significantly elevated the look of my dining table.
