I love it

Gloss Goals Achieved

Let me just say—NYX Butter Gloss is that girl. I don’t know how they manage to pack this much pigment, hydration, and shine into such a budget-friendly little tube, but I’m absolutely not questioning it. The texture? Buttery and rich without being sticky. The scent? Sweet with zero weird aftertaste (you’d be shocked how rare that combo is). And the staying power? Impressive for a gloss—I’ve had it hang on through a coffee run and a Zoom call snack break. Not to give false hopes, you WILL have to reapply throughout the day but it's rare for a lipgloss as glossy as this one to last more than a couple hours. It glides on like a dream and leaves my lips looking juicy and full without any of that dreaded cakey buildup over time. I’ve tried shades from subtle nudes to bold berry tones, and every single one has been a hit. The shade range is seriously so good, I keep tossing another into my bag "just in case." Bonus points for the packaging—it's compact, cute, and actually feels luxe for something that costs less than a fancy coffee. NYX really understood the assignment with this one. Consider me buttered up and glossed for life.

Great pigment bad moisture

I like how pigmented these lip glosses are and the light colors are very light. Every shade is opaque and I love using these as part of my nude lip color combos. They also smell great. However they don’t moisturize too much or penetrate into the lip, so moisturizing first is necessary.
