The 2% salicylic acid Blemish Clarifying Gel Moisturizer is formulated to gently yet effectively provide daily skin renewal optimization (SRO) for smoother, even toned, clearer-looking skin. The light gel moisturizer with 2.5% of niacinamide and cica helps reduce signs of hyperpigmentation and redness that typically result from blemishes. Skin hydration is balanced as hyaluronic acid holds moisture and 2% squalane locks it in while strengthening the lipid barrier.

It works.

I like using this during the weeks in my cycle that I can feel hormonal acne coming on. In terms of functionality, I think it's working. However, I must have received a weird batch, because it is not a gel consistency, and actually quite liquid for something called a gel. I usually end up adding another moisturizer on top, as the consistency feels more like a thick serum.

Acne Safe!!

I've repurchased this product 3 times now and will continue to do so! It's super hydrating for the dry Canadian winter without causing any blemishes and soothing the existing acne I have. would 10/10 recommend for acne prone skin.

Great moisturizer for winter season

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If we are talking about the formula and how my skin feels when using this moisturizer I would definitely give it 4 stars. The consistency is in between liquid and gel, and absorbs very well on my skin. My skin does look shiny right after applying the moisturizer but the shine gets muted once it is absorbed. My face during this season tends to be dry so this moisturizer works really well in bringing moisture in my face. The only reason why I gave this moisturizer 3 stars is because of the smell. I'm thinking it might be because of the tea tree oil, although I'm not entirely sure. The smell is not fragrant/perfumey which would have been worse, but unfortunately I am sensitive to certain smells. I was hoping the smell would dissipate which it did eventually but not fast enough for me. If they made this moisturizer fragrance free I would absolutely buy it though.

This gel moisturizer has saved my face!!

I love this product! I started off using Citrus-C but switched to this gel moisturizer because I noticed I was looking oily with Citrus-C. I love the smell, the longevity, how lightweight it is, and all of the benefits this product provides. I would definitely recommend this product and will be repurchasing!!!

Not for my skin type

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed the scent of tree tea oil, but my skin had a reaction both times I tried to use this lotion. My cheeks turn red and feel like they are burning a few minutes after application. This product does not work well on my dry and sensitive skin. I'm sure it could work well for other skin types.
