Sweet but dulled colors.

I ordered 4 cups to mix with Noritake Charlotta gold rimmed saucers for some springtime color to punch up my completed Charlotta dinnerware set. The china of Poppy place is very nice, white, easy to hold coffee cup. The color is dull, paled. No saturation or translucence to it. I put this set in the everyday use category. Sweet design, but won't liven up a curated dinner setting.
