Doesn’t work right
Definitely does not work. Kept hitting temp way too quickly, despite being inserted correctly. Didn’t get to use it right away after buying so now we can’t return. Love our Ninja Crispi, but thermometer was a bad purchase.

Good, but app could be improved!
Overall a good product. Would be better if the app allowed you to customize different notification vibrations and notification sounds. I find whatever the vibration pattern it's set to to be a bit annoying. Also, the animated ninja splash screen duration when you open the app could be shortened by half. The case should be rechargeable vs removing a battery. I've seen other apps provide a live tracker on the iphone lock screen which could also be a great addition instead of just push notifications. Also, the preset temp for 'chuck roast' is set much too high; have to use other beef presets to properly cook the chuck roast.

Little but mighty thermometer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little thermometer is so cool! I am not a big meat cooker but I have a fear of undercooking chicken and overcooking it so this will help. As I get into cooking steaks and roasts this will help me make the perfect meat and I check the temp even while I’m away from it on my phone! I plan to let my mom try it as well since she bbq’s so she can be in the house while everything cooks in the backyard. I don’t have to worry about anything melting either.
