Doesn't last

I got this blender 2 years ago and I pretty much only do smoothies with it. this morning the blender was clearly struggling and it started smelling like smoke. I stopped and unplugged it, removed the cup and there was lots of smoke coming out of it. motor is clearly worn out or something has gone wrong with it. I'd expect this to last longer than 2 years.

Defective

I got one of these for Christmas (it’s now February 29) and in that time we’ve had to replace it twice, and the 3rd replacement just broke as well…the first time it looked like there was a mechanical error on the inside because the buttons just stopped responding. The second one literally fell apart. I tried to pick it up to move it so I could clean my counters and the base well off and crumbled, I’d never seen anything like it. The third one did the same thing as the first, buttons just stopped responding

Base Seperating

Bought in early 2023, and after occasional use, the top portion of the housing (on the base) is starting to separate from the bottom of the base. If you do decide to buy this product or any Ninja product, make sure you keep your receipt in a safe place because that is the only way to return the item if still under warranty. I learned the hard way, so I am unable to utilize the warranty. It seems the blender is made of poor construction and for the price, I would look elsewhere.

DO NOT BUY — CHEAP/NOT DURABLE

Bought December 2022, broke May 2023. Blender completely separated from the suction base. Never moved it from the spot on my countertop in the 17 months I’ve owned it. Separation came from blender running normally while being auctioned to countertop. Waste of money. Warranty only covers 1 year, just shows how cheap it is.
