Blazing the 80's Short Blazer

This cropped open-front blazer reminds me of the Janet Jackson 80's era where these short jackets were very popular. I love the purple, pink, and black paint splotches. I usually wear long jackets because I am plus-sized and thick around the belly, but with a black flare skirt, I pulled this short blazer look off better than I thought I could. I bought some dangly pink earrings and wore black ankle boots. This is a stylish blazer with jeans or a skirt.

This item doest look as pictured. Arms are tight. My jacket size is an 18 Very unhappy that I can't even get a store credit. :(

Fantastic jacket that hits at high hip/low waist

Fantastic jacket with excellent construction. Fully lined. I love the fact that it's cut short so that it hits at the high hip/low waist. Color and fabric are wonderful as well. Little details include matching buttons at the cuffs (well sewn on, too). The only quibble is sizing. I ordered this jacket in 3x and a sister jacket in Oatmilk in 2x. The larger size is just that... large. It's actually too big, but the pattern and ability of the placket to overlap (it has no buttons or closures) makes it okay. It fits great through the shoulders and upper arms. Blessedly, the sleeves are actually long enough for me! Meanwhile, the 2x fits my torso well, but is snug on the upper arms. I am 6' tall, weigh 260, measure 47" through the bust and have an upper arm of 17.5". Final thought: why don't women's jackets have an inside pockets like men's jackets? I get not having side pockets because they would hang weird, but inside... maybe?
