NikeMen's Kyrie Flytrap 4 Basketball Sneakers from Finish Line

I like Nike, but dissatisfied with Kyrie Flytrap Basketball shoes

I previously owned a pair of Nike KD basketball shoes that I enjoyed very much and the support and stability of the shoe was good. Eventually, after a few years they started to fall apart like most basketball shoes if you play a decent amount. The Kyrie Flytrap shoes I bought online have not been good for me. I enjoy Nike basketball shoes but this is the worst basketball shoe I have worn. The support & stability of the shoe is terrible - I sprained my ankle twice within 10 times of wearing the shoe. They are light, but you lose some stability with the shoe. I would recommend a different shoe if you wan't to remain on the court and not on your couch icing your ankle.

I think the 5 star reviews here are paid reviewers. These shoes look nice but do not feel nice. The design of the sole as well as the front of the shoe causes a lot of functional instability and overall discomfort. The design of the front of the shoe is so tight that your toes start to hurt 5-10 minutes after wearing them no matter how loose you wear them. I understand the need to wear your basketball shoes tight, but you can’t do that with these shoes. The sole is designed in a way that it curves inward in the middle so it doesn’t provide any support to your inner middle part of your feet and when you run you can feel your feet slanting inward.

PLEASE LISTEN when I SAY these shoes HAVE THE VERY WORSE grip on a basketball court I have ever witnessed! Nike should be embarrassed!! Unbelievable, other reviewers haven't mentioned this flaw?! I've watched three other boys slide all over in these same shoes. YES, on different courts!! They are SO bad we returned them after my sons first game in them falling twice..sliding around like on an ice rink! Just pitiful! Nike and Kyrie ...we are bummed! These shoes weight, looks and narrow design were perfect for my 11 year old sons (healing from foot/ankle surgery feet) he was disappointed returning them today but knew he wasn't secure in them on the court!

I was in need of finding my son some basketball shoes ASAP. Thankfully Nike had the shoe he liked and the size.

These shoes blew out right below the Nike swoosh on the instep of both shoes during basketball season. Had to buy my son some new shoes during basketball season.

Comfortable basketball shoes that feel good and make my feet feel safe.
