very good shoe

my second pair of internationalist mids. i wear mostly 8.5 and 9 nike and these 9's fit well. this utility version is slightly more narrow than the regular intl mid. but not uncomfortable. different laces thin vs thick. overall the main thing is the color contrast. not nearly as striking as the pics. the greys are much closer in hue not almost white like the pic.

Horrible Fit

These shoes fit horribly! they are for a narrow foot and not your typical Nike fit. Beware!!! I have 3 other internationalist styles in suede from a few years ago and they fit fine. I was looking for a winter shoe. Ordered and returned within minutes of trying on.

Top Shoe

Bought the green version and love them! The only drawback is they run slightly narrow around the ball of your foot and you can feel the seam on the heal. They also don't stand up as high when you wear them as they appear to in the picture. Otherwise, super stylish and comfortable!

Great winter shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Internationalist leather shoes and wanted to get a similar shoe that I could wear in the rain (though it never rains here), the cold and just generally with jeans. The shoes are about 90% as comfortable as the standard internationalists. My biggest complaint is the laces need to be longer. To take away heel slippage, I need to lace the top loop, and the only way to get the laces tied (because they are too short) is to lace the shoes tighter then I want to, which creates some discomfort.

I have a question... would this shoe be too hot to wear in warmer climates all year round?

Yes, it is "webbed" / connected for 3/4ths of the tongue

Question instead of a comment. Is there webbing connecting the tongue to the sides of the shoe you know, in case you step in a puddle or deep snow?

More comfortable then they look!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Internationalist Utilitys are more comfortable then they look & more stylish then any other shoe thats out. Its hard to find comfortable & stylish shoes. You have to give up one to have the other but not with the Internationalist Utilitys. Being young & recently disabled the Internationalist Utilitys gives me style & most importantly comfort in the heel area & support on my ankles. My only complaints are that the heel tab needs to be bigger for actually use and more colors to choose from. Maybe Nike will give us the option to fully customize the Internationalist Utilitys!!

I found the heel pull tab to be adequate... just FYI for those reading this.
