Too firm

The topper didn’t have a smell at all as mentioned in other reviews and it expanded before the recommended time of 24 hours. The topper was a lot firmer than anticipated and is way to firm for my bad back. I was looking for something to provide a level of softness to my hard mattress and this definitely did not provide that. I would have returned it if had been easier to box back up but it’s literally impossible to do.
