I bought this machine September 2023 and it has broken down twice now (Jan 2025). I have descaled the machine and live alone so the machine is only seeing about two pods a day. Sad that it's no longer working.

Great little machine
So far so good. Have enjoyed a variety of coffees since April. I love the compact size.

Great while it lasted
Was a great machine that was easy to use & produced great espresso. However, it developed an internal leak after less than 3 years of use and can't be fixed. Very disappointing since it wasn't an inexpensive machine. Expected to get a much longer lifecycle out of this since we also have the Pixie which is still going strong after 9+ years.

Great until freezes during descaling, now useless.
Great until the programming freezes during descaling. I have had this for a couple years, descaling it regularly. After the most recent descaling, it will not exit that mode. I tried all the online suggestions for overriding it, but no luck. It went instantly from a great machine to a paperweight.

We recommend running a priming cycle weekly through your machine to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body, and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. Best Original-Line Nespresso Machines
Now that I have used/owned almost all of the Nespresso Original-Line machines, I can honestly this Breville Essensa Plus is one is the most beautiful, quietest, drips the least, and overall the simplest machine and yet turns out an awesome shot of espresso every time. Also, it looks great beside my Breville Bambino and Breville Smart coffee grinder.
