Poor construction

Beautiful teakettle but does not open to fil or clean. For being so expensive you can’t turn the heat on high heat you will burn handle and finish will bubble only can heat on medium. My handle is already wobbly after a few uses other than that it’s pretty haha

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!

I love the unique look of this kettle and when it whistles it sounds like a train horn. When it sits on the stovetop it makes the kitchen look so rich.. I'm a single guy and when I have guest they all love it. It's easy to clean, DO NOT LEAVE WATER IN IT when not in use.

Form over function

This tea kettle definitely looks unique and makes a statement, however after less than a year of owning it, one of the screws came off the handle, now making it useless. I am hoping I can take it in to have it fixed, but it's still annoying. As others mentioned, the handle does heat up, but never to the point where you can't hold it. Overall, it's a great piece for occasional use, but probably not the best choice for your everyday tea kettle.

pretty but doesn't whistle

We got this as a wedding gift and were very excited to use, especially since it boasts a nice humming steam whistle. We've tried to use it 5 times and it never whistles. We're only alerted that the water is boiled if we look at the stove and steam is coming from the spout. We are going to return it and see if maybe it's a flaw of the pot we received.

HORRIBLE QUALITY

When you pay so much for a Tea Kettle you wouldn't expect to return it twice because of scratches and damages on it. This was a wedding gift and I had to return it two times. Extremely inconvenient. Also the Lid does not open. Not sure what kind of a tea kettle this is that the lid does not open. Other than that I love the design of it. Wish it didn't have so many flaws.

Out $125

The handle heats up. And after a year, the whistle stopped working and the opener for the spout jammed.

Nice to look at but not functional...

We got this kettle for our wedding and we're pleased when it arrived as it's a nice kitchen accessory to leave out on display; however, after a few uses the pin that holds the spout in place came loose causing it to separate from the kettle. We were really disappointed especially when considering the price point of the product. Additionally, the top handle does not screw open and the water needs to be added to the kettle through the spout. A major design flaw that overall makes it dysfunctional.
