I love this tea kettle. It's stylish, sturdy n has a pleasant whistling sound when the water is boiling. The only thing is there is no lid to open and fill the pot with water, you have to fill the pot by holding the little spout open.

Great teakettle
Not only does this numbe teakettle look beautiful on my stovetop , it heats up in no time! The handle remains cool and is very easy to use and pour. My daughter ran to the store to get one for herself.

Love it
Bought this for my sister's new home-she needed a stylish tea kettle-this fit the bill-sounds great too when it whistles
Elegant and functional
I love a good design. This.teakettle is gorgeous and well made. they say it chirps, expecting s bird sound, mine sounds more like a train whistle coming into the station. Regardless, I still like the pleasant sound that cannot be ignored. After using it every day for a while it requires polishing. I use bar keepers friend and it looks like new. If you like the look, get it. You will have to hold the hot handle with some sort of pot holder,though.

Does not look like picture
Picture makes the kettle look like the bottom third is a slightly different color separated by a ridge appearing to have more shape and style, rather the whole thing is just shiny silver mirror. Even on the box it came in, it describes it as "high-polish mirror finish" which is not in the online description. Also, whistle sounds like a foghorn and you have to fill the kettle from the spout from which you pour the water, no top opening.

Elegant but...
This is a really lovely kitchen accent. I bought it hoping that it actually made sort of a chirping sound - it doesn't. The sound is quite nice though, very deep and not heart stopping or obnoxious by any means. Unless you sit the back it off the burner a little bit, the handle gets too hot to hold. Due to the shape and angle, it's also difficult to fill. It's probably not worth the money unless you're looking for looks/sound alone, because it lacks a little in functionality.
Perfect Tea Kettle!
There isn't a better, more lovely tea kettle out there. Function: On my Wolf gas range with 20,000 Btu on HIGH, the flames do not shoot past the circumference of the kettle. Previous kettles' handles or spouts would melt on HIGH, because the bottom of the kettles were too small. Since I'm able to use HIGH gas, the water boils in a flash! And the whistle is very nice - it is not high pitched and alarming, like other kettles are. Aesthetics: Beautiful, gorgeous, stunning design! The metal stays shiny, and water spots are easily wiped with a soft towel. It is always left out on the range, and it never fails to receive oohs and aaahs from guests. It is a showstopper that works!
