They sent a damaged display model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No fault of Mont Blanc, but Bloomingdale's sent me a scuffed "display" model, that even has the rollerball swapped out for a pilot ballpoint.

Nice pen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received my pen from Bloomies.com and it feels great. It's very lightweight with a distinctive design. The downside is that the ink it came with exploded in its bag. Luckily it didn't damage the pen or the box but it sure made a mess on my desk and hands! I don't know how this could happen to Montblanc especially since I already own their fountain pen, ballpoint and pencil. I've already ordered ink for this pen so I hope this pen passes the Montblanc as a fine instrument. Another sore point is that the Bloomies stores don't carry blue ink. I can't believe this so I guess my next purchase of a pen will most likely have to be elsewhere unless the buying office changes their minds.
