Not for younger kids
Very heavy, painful to use even for an adult as the plastic corners dig into your hands. You have to hold down the button for the sword to make noise. The sides of the sword are made out of hard foam but the tip is hard plastic, so expect injuries.
Great for fun role playing and imaginative play

Nevertheless, countless battles are being fought, lost and won. A lot of fun and an excellent imagination kickstarting toy! Prompts creative role playing.

Great toy
I love that you don't have to press the button when swinging the the sword. You can use the setting which you have to press the button. The only thing I would say is that it could be a little softer (the spongey bit on the sword?)

Very fun Minecraft sword!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Minecraft sword is very fun. It has two settings. One that just lets the sword make swishing and metal hitting metal sounds. The other setting has the same sounds when you move the sword around. In addition, it also activates a button that makes monster sounds when you press it. So, you feel like you are fighting a zombie. It is a good looking sword. I think that we will end up hanging it on my son's wall to also be a decoration. The only thing that keeps this from being a 5 is that the handle is a bit big for little hands.

Kids love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a sturdy toy and my son likes it. It might be a bit big or weirdly sized for smaller kids but they enjoy it. It's cool that it makes sounds and lights up but honestly I think the kids would like it just as much without those things. My 6 year old loves sword fighting and uses anything he can, from a wrapping paper roll to a small rolled up rug. So he's always happy to get a new sword and I think this one will hold up for a long time!

So fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a solid, and fun, toy if you have a Minecraft fan in your home. I have had 2 in my house over the last 8 years or so, and both have had a similar sword. This sword is a lot better than the previous one we had. My son loves the added sound effects. It really adds to the imaginative play. It's solidly made, and will stand up to the rough play most will have to endure. Definitely recommend!

Sturdy toy, cool sounds
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Minecraft Deluxe Netherite Sword, with Lights & Sounds is a sturdy toy. It is a little heavy for smaller children. The sounds are fun, but I can't figure out how to make lights work. That doesn't seem to bother my son. He really likes the look and sounds of this toy sword.
