Super cute and functional.

These are great for taco toppings for a small group -- or many other small items. Could not pass them up at the sale price with my extra coupon.

Beautiful

I purchased 2 sets of these bowls to hold toppings for an ice cream sundae bar at my daughter's bridal shower. I was drawn to the old world style and found that they're even prettier in person. I'm glad that I decided to buy them.

Too Big

The bowls are too deep for dip or nuts or anything. If they were a little shorter they would be great. Couldn't think of anything to use them for so I sent them back. Quality of workmanship is not as good as my dinner set.

this is way bigger than I thought

received on last Saturday, this is TOO big! i was expecting small white dip bowls not a POT!! I'd use for my basil pot, not as a dipping bowl.

Square Bowls

These bowls are the equivalent to the 5 oz round bowls, I believe. So, yes, they aren't little tidbit bowls. Mine appear to be very well made. There is a bit of "heft" to them meaning they aren't thin and would hold heat if you chose to eat warm soup of them, but they aren't clunky in my opinion. I really like them and will probably buy more. I do recommend them.

Color does not match

These are much more yellow than the original pattern, the quality is poor and the size is much to large, more like a small vegetable bowl.

Really nice

We got these from our registry. We love them. They look so nice with our Mikasa dishes from the same set. The Countryside set is so beautiful. We use it for everyday and sometimes even for special occasions. Pieces are much stronger than expected, and do not chip easily.

INTERESTING ADDITION TO THE TABLE!

These square bowls are really different and interesting. I have found many uses for them, from soup to salad to candy, cut up fruit, rice and vegetables...I could go on and on! I have a lot of Italian Countryside and lately have been trying to acquire pieces that aren't "round". Not that I don't like the round, just looking for something different to add to my collection. These fit that bill and they are functional, too. Very sturdy. One con: They don't fit in the dishwasher very well. Other than that, I am happy with them.
