Very Hard Leather

I ordered this belt in black leather for my husband. The leather is very hard and it didn't have that leather "smell". For the price, I expected better quality. My husband returned it. Since it was so hard, it wouldn't have been comfortable. I'm finding with Michael Kors leather, it's hit or miss. I'm only recommending this belt if you don't care if the leather is hard. (It didn't say leather on the belt.)
