Merton & Stork Grill Pan stainless steel

Used grill pan once results were top notch steak was cooked to perfection. Cleanup was easy and spotless. Looking forward to purchasing additional products. We have previously purchased the utensils with holder and found them to be equally satisfying as well. Very good quality products. Looking forward to our next purchase.

Great frying pan

Looks really nice. Already seasoned which is great. Food doesn’t stick at all. Can use metal spatula without ruining the surface. Very versatile as able to go in oven under high heat without warping it. Much lighter than cast iron which makes it much easier to use.

Not good

Bought this roasting pan and the first time I used it to bake a ham, it discolored. Yesterday used it a second time to bake an apple crisp and after washing it and drying it with a paper towel all black came off!! Its not a good pan! I have bought many other green pan products including your essential electric skillet and have been pleased with them, but not this purchase.

Misnomer

I'd like to dispel any notion that this product is "nonstick". I have yet to experience these nonstick properties, despite applying additional seasoning to the surface before I ever used it and each time after I use it. All of the food substances that I've cooked in this product never fail to stick. It seems that at least part of the issue is the design of the cooking surface; it is either designed with a cooking surface that is concave upward so that the cooking oil flows away from the center as it heats up, or the cooking surface itself bends upward, in response to heat. In any case, the cooking oil invariably moves away from center of the cooking surfaces, causing virtually every food type that I cook to stick, right in the center of the cooking surface.

The evolution of the cast iron

Absolutely loving my new carbon steel frypan so far. Unlike the cast iron skillets that we use, it heats up quickly and we've been able to cook eggs in this pan, without tons of scrubbing after.
