Great shoe! Tricky fit
Shoe is very nice and love the bottom grip. I may have odd feet but the fact it has no tongue makes it a little tricky to fit and I wish there was a lower shoelace tie in closer to the ankle like some other shoes have. Overall great shoe

Perfect shoe for me
I am really enjoying the Alpine 83. They are comfortable, lightweight, and breath easy. I love the attached tongue. If you're like me and like to just slide into your shoes without tying the shoe laces every time and still have a nice fit, then these are the perfect shoes for you. They hold up really well for everyday use and I've used them on a couple easy short day hikes with no issues.

Tricky
Great look, great feel, but difficult for my 10 year old son to put on. It has laces but it’s also a slip on with an opening that’s a bit tight. I didn’t quite notice that when I bought them online. Great for kids still learning how to tie a tight lace.

Function with a Pop of color
I’ve been eyeing these shoes for bit and finally decided to buy them. GLAD I DID! I’ve owned them for a bit over a month and had numerous people complement that they like my shoes. I’ve taken them out on the trails and they provided the grip and traction needed for the hike. They are now my favorite everyday shoes for style, comfort and now I’m always ready for the trails.
