Not real gold

Bad quality, my mom bought 3 necklaces for my bother’s, each for their birthdays and she has only given one away. A week after it was given to one of my brothers the necklace started to get dark. And when she called to see what she could do about it we were told that the warranty had expired. So the question now is, what’s going to happen to the other 2 that we still have and they still have tags and everything if they turn out the same as the one that was given to my brother??? (Note, my mom was waiting to gift them to my brothers birthday’s but only one was given and 2 have not.) I took pictures of the one 3 necklace’s side by side and you can clearly see which one is the one that is dark!
