Terrible packaging

***DO NOT BUY lipsticks from this line. The packaging is horrible. I could not open my lipstick and when I turned it over, I saw that the plastic at the top had broken and fallen in somehow. Not sure how to fix it since it’s too big to pull through the top. I knew before buying that I can’t return/exchange this through Macy’s but figured it’s just a lipstick, what could go wrong. At this price, it’s not worth buying. Dark rum hurricane is also a lot darker than pictured FYI. I have never purchased makeup from this line so was really excited to try it out.

Smooth application

This lipstick is a gorgeous deep berry red color. It applies smoothly for being a matte finish and feels hydrating. This is my first application and I did use a balm before applying I'm not sure if that my have affected it's application. The shade of the lipstick is nice and pointed and makes it easy to line and the stick itself has a soft formula. The shade is quite buildable. I did just one pass as I didn't want it so intense for work. The case is neat because you need to twist the case to expose the lipstick. It makes it easier to put away without damaging it. My only caveat is that if you don't twist the lipstick out far enough your lips come in contact with the case causing your lips to smudge it.

iced cappuccino=not too pink or orange

The iced cappuccino shade is what I have been looking for for literally years. Most lipsticks end up looking warm pinkish-orange on me regardless of what they look like in the tube. MAC used to make a beautiful nude matte lipstick in a shade called Act Natural…then discontinued it. Sephora had an okay dupe in the shade Love Love and they just discontinued it also. In both cases, the lipstick looked weirdly grey-mauve in the tube but ended just turning to a subtle neutral color on my lips. FINALLY I stumbled upon iced cappuccino by Meloway and it is just perfect. Also the formula is great. Matte but not too drying, decent staying power, and as it wears off over the course of the day (talking, drinking, eating) it wears off evenly. Love it.

Not a fan

This lipstick is very dry unfortunately and texture is too dense

I don’t like this lipstick . Color is not the same as a picture . Doesn’t look good on a lips either .

Small lipstick for the price

This is not a full size lipstick so be aware. It's just OK in my opinion. For the price and the size, would not buy again.
