A Gem of a Book “Maybe”

A book that reinforces a young person’s dreams and possibilities. Through one character, the story communicates how each person is special in their own way. The book is inspirational for young readers and can build positive self-esteem and reflection. Illustrations are also nice and descriptive of the story.

Inspiring for all ages

As a kid's book specialist, I have come across a lot of stellar children's picture books over the years. Maybe, written by Kobi Yamada and illustrated by Gabriella Barouch, is one of my all time favorite kid's picture books. It's fantastically thought provoking and creative. People of all ages can read this book and find something that touches their hearts. The illustrations in this are absolutely stunning. With such an inspiring and timeless message about the potential in us all, this book is a MUST for anyone's library. One of my favorite pages is of the child hugging a polar bear with the line "Maybe you will speak up for those who can't speak for themselves?" Truly wonderful book!
