BEWARE design/manufacturing flaw w/nightstands

The Matteo Nightstand is beautiful. However, in order to avoid having the nightstand tip over, the manufacturer (within the last 6 months) changed the design of the drawers. The depth of the drawers is 19" but only opens about 6-8 inches therefore you cannot access anything that you put in the back of the drawer. In trying to replace a damaged nightstand that was initially delivered to me, I spent the greater part of the last year rejecting multiple deliveries of nightstands before this design/manufacturing flaw was figured out. This feature makes the nightstand unusable because you cannot reach the back of the drawer. Macys eventually acknowledged this to me. I cannot speak to whether the dressers have this issue but I would check them before I buy. BEWARE!

Was worth the long wait

Love the style as well as the dresser purchased. It just took from May 17th to August 14th to get it delivered thanks to MY constant contact with the sales clerk at the Tacoma store and customer service calls.

Matteo = Great-o

Love this!! I purchased the King Size Matteo bedroom set, and this was part of that. It's great. Perfect height with the bed, and it is solid, sturdy, no rocking about - the drawers are great and come with a suede or felt lining that you can remove, but I just got it today & I'm leaving them inside to protect the inside bottom of the drawers. There are 3 drawers, just as advertised. So far, I am totally happy with my purchase. It is a great buy, and I totally recommend it!

Very well made!

Plenty of storage inside. Although pricey, it’s greatly quality and craftsmanship that you’re paying for. The design fits really well in our room and matches our bed.
