Disappointing

I brought this for my niece for her birthday. She was super excited because it’s exactly what she wanted. She recorded her password & subsequent messages; however, the journal would not close initially and has yet to close. We are extremely disappointed with this product. I would only recommend this if the product is fully functioning.

Great features but hard to open

My daughter was super excited to get one of these for her birthday. However, the password recognition is very sensitve and that makes it difficult to open. You have to say the password with the same tone, speed and rythmn as your first recordng. It also gets thrown off by background noise. We've had lot of meltdowns trying to figure out how to say the word correctly, and there is no way to override without opening it.

Tearful Christmas

I bought two for my granddaughters for Christmas. The girls were so excited, recorded their passwords, and laughed when none of us could open them. Then proceeded to cry when they couldn't open them either. What started off as a gift giving win soon became an extreme fail. I am so disappointed!

Seeing good reviews for the product but many say they received a free sample? I bought two of these for my grandaughters for Christmas. Hoping they are are great as those reviews. The questions I have are what is the free sample and where do I get one?

Secret Keeper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I remember diaries when I was a kid. Little books with cheap locks on them that anyone could open. Well this is nothing like those. This is nothing like those. This journal is voice activated so it opens only for the persons voice who spoke into it. Whats even better if someone tries to open it the journal will sound an alarm of your very own creation. It can even record the persons voice who tries to sneak a peek and guess your private password. This really gives new meaning to privacy and secrets. Good for preteens and teens.

Lots of fun for daughter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loved the My Password Journal from first sight. She's not much of a writer yet, but loved the idea of a place to write down secrets that her brother couldn't get into. Honestly I think some of the most fun she's had with it is recording an alarm that goes off when an incorrect password is stated. She also changed her password so many times because she was having fun with it.

Perfect purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is at the stage right now where she says she needs privacy and she lives journaling, this is perfect for her. She feels like her thoughts are very secure with the voice password protector. Of course she also loves that she can keep secrets from her brothers who are always trying to find her journal haha

A Little Hard to Use for my 6 year old Daughter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old daughter played with the My Password Journal and it wasn't a hit. She is a little young for this product since she is just learning to spell and getting the product to open took many tries leaving her frustrated. It is better suited for an older child and would maybe have been a hit with my son if it were not for the color and design of the journal lending itself to only a female user.
