Love Macy's! Buy Furniture but not online

I ended up not getting this bed. Poor experience but I think it is because certain departments in the company don't communicate well. I had no problem with the first bed I ordered- it was seamless. This time? Geez! I'll continue to shop at Macy's but not furniture.

Do not buy if you need storage

Color is nice and so is the top wood portion, solid wood. However, inside, the drawers are much smaller than they make them look, as the drawers are not full size, they do not fill all the available space, while it looks large, storage is not maximized. The front displays are twice as large as the drawers which are not deep or wide at all. Disappointed, would not recommend if you are looking to maximize storage, like we are.

Handsome piece with room for improvement.

This is a handsome piece of furniture that is cheaply constructed; although the outside wood is acceptable and the color is a bit grayer than expected, it looks fine. Things that could be improved are the drawer extensions. They should be at least 2" longer to accommodate a wider drawer of 14" rather than 12". The depth of the drawers could be 8" rather than 6" and the wood used for the box should be a better quality. Well, you get what you pay for!
