Dependable Martha

I’ve been looking for a chair for a few years with no luck. Furniture is not what it used to be. With that in mind, this chair stands out. It’s very attractive. It’s light enough that I could get it in the house and assemble it by myself. Speaking of assembly, all you have to do is put on the legs. And good old reliable Martha. She didn’t just ship it in a box. There are some nice extras, like the covering on the bottom of the chair, which zippers instead of using velcro. The box with the legs is secured with nice ribbon that you can easily repurpose. The chair itself is nice and sturdy. Good material that should withstand some use. People with back problems will like the seat support. I’m giving it 4 stars because, as someone said on another site, the back is very low. This prevents it from being a true “relaxing” chair. You can’t kick back and read or watch tv. Finally, for some reason it tilts slightly forward, which is a bit unsettling. But overall, a good chair.
