Broke Stand

Beyond disappointed! We received this for our wedding gift and after the first time using it, the stand broke. We followed the instructions exactly as they read for cleaning. Disappointed that we can't return it because it's after the return policy period.

Base broke in 2 first time using it

I love the look of this and was so excited to use it for the first time after receiving it as a shower gift. My husband was cutting the cake (and holding a hand under the plate) when the base broke - not even the top coming off the base like others have complained about, the entire base split and the plate crashed on to the table.

Smaller than expected..

I should have read the fine print - this is much to small for the usual 9" cake, and an 8" will barely fit too. It's really sweet though - just be aware that it is smaller than expected, at least for me.

Disappoionted

While I love the look and style of this cake stand, I am left disappointed. After only a handful of uses, one of which was my wedding, the top of the cake plate detached from the base. This was always handled extremely carefully and should not have come apart. Would be nice if Macy's would do something to remediate this.

Gorgeous!

This cake stand is so truly beautiful. The ruffle design is so tasteful and elegant and the dome is perfect; it's exactly what I had been looking for. Cakes and cupcakes look stunning on this stand and looks gorgeous in my dining room - would recommend to anyone!!

I expected a better product for the cost

I figured because it was Martha Stewart & it cost so much it would be a great qualify product. But the Glass part was so thin and extremely fragile. Not good for every day use or really anytime. its more like an item that you just look at from afar because any usage will probably break it. The bottom seemed more like expensive white plastic. I ended up returning it because I knew it was not something that was just look and don't touch.
