That's what my Dad said about this speaker, and he lives in the Digital Ice Age. He's new to a tablet, but was easily brought up to speed on how to get his tunes (Oldies, of course!) blasting out in the garage. He was really taken with how good looking it is. The Stanmore is such a beautiful component: a wonderful throw-back in looks, but so modern in performance, ease-of-use, and sound. After considering many brands, I ended up with The Stanmore Speaker. It was a difficult choice since I hadn't heard it before purchasing. It was The Marshall Name and reputation that sealed the deal. I couldn't be happier. Everything about the speaker speaks quality. The sound is terrific, lots of bass and tremble with nice separation. Setup was easy and despite some comments that bluetooth linking is poor, I've had no problems. My only complaint is that the Marshall App that I downloaded isn't working. The problem may be that it mentions "Multi Room" usage. I have only one speaker.

Pairs with iPhone. iPad easily. Terrific volume. Great feedback and response from younger crowd. They love the vintage look. Happy I bought it. Does exactly what I want. Sirius radio. Audible books. Portable. Kudos to you.

Sound quality is solid
Sound quality is solid for this price range. The only minus point is no remote control or application software to control volume. Hope will develop application software to control functions via Bluetooth.

Awesome
Love it. Great sound loving the retro Marshall stack look. Easy to use. I have it connected to my Eco so we are able to play our music at any time.
Tone controls don’t work
I received my Stanmore speaker a couple of weeks ago and for the first few days it was AWESOME!! However now I cannot use the tone controls they jst spin around and around - very disappointed, I plan on returning the unit and going w/another manufacturer...
