The hood is just too big and long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size XL is a bit too bit for my husband, especailly the hood. It completely covers his head all the way to his eyes at the front. He is usually between L and XL. I would love to get him this but too bad, I have to return,

Everything you need nothing you don't.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking to move from a down parka to a shell this season and the Refuge jacket checked all the boxes. Easily fit the hood over my helmet when needed, great collar when it's zipped up and easily useable pit-zips for dumping heat. At 6'1 230lbs I went with the XL and have plenty of room to layer a pretty significant puffy under it if need be. The pockets are easily accessible and it's nice to have an inner pocket to stash gloves in while running inside quick.

No match for wet, heavy snow or the powder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great shell that has held up this season both in the wet, Midwest slush, and the soft Utah powder. I do wish the cuffs were a titch wider to more easily secure over my gloves.

It's Got It All

Absolutely love this jacket. It's got it all. It's a true waterproof shell, great for layering. The pit zips let ya shed heat & powder skirt keeps the pow out of your pants. The hood is large & fits well over my helmet. Finally, it has every imaginable form of pocket you could ask for. Definitely recommend for resort or backcountry. Especially if you like pockets.

Great resort jacket!

This is my go-to coat for smashing laps in bounds. It bridges the gap between an insulated and shell jacket making it a great all-around piece.
