Not So Pro
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While it is stretchable and more waterproof than regular Precip Eco, it lacks features found on the regular jacket - not packable into own packet and doesn't appear to be PFC free. You'd expect the pro version to be better in every way.

The almost perfect rain jacket.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's pretty amazing the quality and comfort of this jacket for the price. It feels slightly less like a rain jacket and a touch towards the soft shell jacket feel. My only gripe is the pit zip zipper is cold on my arms if I wear a short sleeve shirt underneath, so I usually plan to wear long sleeves to prevent that. It's a small complaint to have in order to have the pit zips. A zipper guard would probably increase the jacket price. I have 2 gore tex marmot jackets that I could wear but this one feels less like a thick, unbreakable plastic shell. This jacket is unique in that it has a breathable waterproof barrier similar to gore tex but it's only rated for 20,000 according to their documentation. I've read that there has been issues with some of the previous years versions and delamination. With this new 3 layer design hopefully that issue has been fixed. Only time will tell. All in all it's my go to rain jacket unless I'm going to be in it all day long. It's probably one of the most comfortable rain jackets I've owned. I'm a 32 waist with a 40r chest and opted to get the medium. The fit is more standard so if I wanted a really tight fit I maybe could have squeezed into a size small. The medium fits really well though and allows for me to wear a decent mid layer if needed. One of my favorite things is the hood. I don't plan to wear this with a helmet so it's great that the hood fits closer to my face than my other marmot jackets and it has adjustments to fine tune the fit. My least favorite thing is the placement of the pockets but as this is meant to be a more technical version of the standard eco jacket it's understandable. I don't need to stick my hands into my rain jacket pockets anyways.

Great light jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good fit, like the pocket placement. Kept me dry in moderate rain.

A decent, quality, budget rain jacket
I thought I should take the time to leave a review so others wouldn't be confused. Macy's has this titled as a "Marmot Mens Precip Pro Jacket" with the description stating it's the 2 layer version. I, however, received the upgraded 3 layer "Eco Pro" version of the jacket. Macy's also has a separate listing for that jacket with the correct description of the jacket I received. All in all it's a great budget rain jacket that they state has a 25k membrane. With pit zips and adjustment options at the waist, wrists, and hood you're pretty much set. The hood is not meant for over a helmet so you get a pretty snug fit. The hood brim could be better. Pockets are meant for technical access so not ideal but work.

I like it
Excellent jacket and perfect fit for 2XL bigger torso Filipino. Definitley, a bulkier option compared to the original and would recommend the regular Precip to the hiker.
