Favorite jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tough as nails. Replaced one only because weight loss pushed me from XL to L. Will use the old XL for really rough activities, but this jacket holds up yeay after year. All four males in my family own one and love them.

Durable, outdoor activity jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this in black. Fits true to size. I bought a Large in case I needed to layer. Soft shell fabric provides lots of flexibility to move. Water repellent, not water proof, so I use a real rain shell in heavy weather. Fleecy-ish lining is warm enough for mild weather down to 45F; if colder, I add a thin fleece, sweater or puffy vest. Velcro cuffs are great to adjust around gloves, and the sleeve pocket is useful. Extremely durable: mine is over 5 years old and still works well. I use it when shoveling snow or hiking in cool weather.

Excellent choice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Jacket is very nice, its weight is just fine, it waterproof well. And it sits really nicely on the body. I did a lot of research on the Internet about softshells, and in the end I chose this product, and it definitely does not disappoint. best VFM I highly recommend the product.

Only Lasted 10+ Years
C'mon Marmot! I've had this jacket 10 years and it's still great. I want a new one, but this one is never going to wear out. Actually, it's FINALLY showing a bit of sleeve wear. The end of the zipper is pulling away maybe 5mm. Water repellency doesn't work, even with TekWash. But I love it. It's perfect. They can bury me in it.

The best jacket ever created
The greatest jacket ever made. I have owned this jacket for 13 years. Is the best ever made, even left in latex paint for months, all the paint scrapped off and still looks almost like new. Is perfect for any climate and perfect for everything. Durable, very warm if active, basically good to about 20 F is you are moving around.
