Not a fan

I wanted to love this but I'm not a fan. Drying lipstick and not long lasting. Definitely more of a warm color

Horrible quality

The packaging seems cheap. The formula does too. Its too greasy and once it sets it dries your lips. If you drink out of something, the color is immediately gone and it gets patchy.

MISLEADING SHADES!

Be aware that the shade photos here online don't even come CLOSE to matching the reality. #222 Defying Violet and the Mauve-named shade are ridiculously dark and brown-based. You're not gonna get the soft purplish-pinks shown. I don't understand how makeup companies continue to get away with this persistent false advertising. It's a hassle for Macy's and their customers!!

Shade Is Way Off...

I got this in the shade "Defying Violet" #222, which is described online as a "cool mauve" and shown in photos as a cool pinkish-mauve. Welp, the shade IRL is brown. Not a warm brown, but very brown nevertheless and not what I was going for. I can't speak to the formula, since I didn't even try it on (why bother when it's a shade I would never wear). Not Macy's fault (and I got a great Macy's sale price), but MUFE really should reconsider the photos they post for their products.

Love the color and applicator

I am pleasantly surprised how much I love this lipstick! I especially love that the applicator has a unique shape to it so it really is able to accent each part of my lips and their shape. The color is beautiful and stays put for hours. My lips feel great wearing it and it’s highly pigmented. Gifted by MakeupForEver
