I mostly use this to set the concealer and foundation around my eye area and it works perfectly. I love how it's totally transparent and leaves no traces of powder behind and doesn't make my concealer look dry or cracked.

Mac loose powder
My review is for the loose powder that this product comes in. The MAC setting powder is finely milled and does apply nicely with a brush. It is very fine and like a soft feeling powder. Its easy to apply over the skin and on-top of makeup. It is quite white in colour and is supposed to be translucent. However the white powder does make me look a little fairer than usual. It does blend into the skin nicely and provides a soft satin look. However due to the white colouring I do find the setting powder makes me look a bit fairer then usual. My skin looks paler. This powder stops my oily skin and shine coming through so quickly but I do find it makes me look very flat and non dimensional. It lasts for a little bit on the skin but it does fade mixing in with the natural oils of the skin. I have to admit that I don't like the feeling of this on my skin. Although it is soft and blends well it makes my skin feel kind of clogged and heavy. Like I have a thick coating on it. I really don't like this. Suprisingly because it feels so soft and lightweight on application. Of note it if I do have dry skin or pores it highlights them and makes them more noticeable. I definitely think this is more usable for oily or combination skin with no significant texture. I guess most setting powders are. Also the container is huge- it seemed to last soooo long - even with daily use- it took ages to use up which is good if you like it. Though you really only need the smallest amount for the whole face. Repurchase? No not for me. I have other powders I think there are better quality setting powders. Also much more affordable and there is such a great array of setting powders in the market now. I know others love this but I just didn't love it enough to repurchase.

Excellent- If you know to remove the safety sticker...
The first time I got this, I couldn't for the life of me get any out. I even punched holes that aligned with the pre-cut squares in the "softer." I liked it enough to buy again, and I'm a dink! If you pull up the sifter insert (carefully!) there's a black sticker to peel off! Now I'm just bummed I go through it so quickly-there's not a ton in there. But add the Matte Spray and my makeup is set, even wearing a mask to work all day or anywhere out of the house at other times.

Don't even try.
Bad bad bad idea. I wish I didn't buy it or try it sooner to be able to return. unfortunately I bought it during the Corona and didn't get chance to try it only once after a few months and did not like it. So unnecessary and make your skin doll and dry like Ghosts.
Lightweight-Have Flashback
This setting powder sets my makeup well, however, it has a really bad flashback and as soon I understood that, I would just wear it for the times that I didn't want to take any pictures. It's really lightweight and prevents any oiliness for hours on myself as well as my beautiful clients.

Excellent for setting eyeliner
I've spent years with my eyeliner looking great when I put it on but within a short time it's transferred to the crease in my eyes instead. It didn't matter what brand I used the rest was the same. I recently tried using the eye primer and then applying this lightly over the top with a brush and has worked every time. No more wandering eyeliner. It stays on all day in exactly the place I put it and nowhere else. I was a bit worried as initially it gave it a slightly dull look when first applied but this quickly settles back to the true colour and eyeliner stays in place. I forgot to take off one night and was still there the next morning. Will be using this every time in future as worked wonders for me.

Loving Results
I have been using MAC foundation for years and I was using the Kat Von D powder to set my make up but I finally got a chance to try this one and I am in love with it. It does not take as long for met to bake and my makeup stays on much better and much longer then the other brand. I have also used other brands and none work as well as this one.
