Vogue - Yes! But Too Long for Me

I bought this dress in size 10 to wear to a New Year's ball. It is quite beautiful. I'm 5'7" and weigh 165 pounds. However, the dress is just a slight bit loose and I prefer my dresses to be close fitting. I plan to return the dress because the back is longer than I wanted for the event. It is dragging while I was hoping for a dress that wouldn't touch the floor. Even with 3 inch heels, I think it would be too much for me to dance comfortably in. I would have kept it and had it taken in for the looseness but I didn't want to have a tailor ruin it by trying to shorten it. Nonetheless, for a different event, I would have kept it because it is a very stunning dress in style and color. I bought a different MacDuggal dress for the event that I was able to get in a shorter length.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this dress and Couldn't decide between the similar one that was slightly longer than mid length or this one. This is definitely elegant with the train running behind it and I love it but it's very very formal and I think I'm gonna go with the very similar one that is shorter and the same length all around. But if I was going to a more elegant formal event, I would have chosen this one because it fits beautifully and it's an awesome dress!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 5’9, have fairly broad shoulders, 36D. I originally ordered the 10 but it was too big. I exchanged for the 8 which I found to be much smaller than the 10. I really needed a 9 haha. But keeping the 8 which is pictured. Excited to wear it!

Love the dress, it is really pretty but it does run large so order a size down!

Very big in the bust area for small chested gals but beautiful dress nonetheless

This is my Mother of the Bride dress, and I can’t wait to wear it. There is nothing about it that I don’t like. It’s sophisticated and classy, with an element of fun (the bow!).
