Neck chain too tight for me.

I bought this dress for a wedding. I have a large neck and the chain was too tight around my neck. It did not allow the dress to hang down or fit correctly on my upper body well. I undid the chain but it still did not hang properly for my broader upper body. Beautiful material. Has a pink hue to it. If I cannot find anything else I may buy it again a size larger just for neck part.
