Amazing

Love the look. The best bronzer ever. I am a NW 43. I love the look. Yes there should have been more color options for all of the women of color. It just works for me. If you have gold to red under tones it works on top of your foundation and it looks great.

It doesn’t show on your skin at all !! Don’t recommend at all ! Don’t Waste your money

No Bronze for Baby Girl

I was SO excited for the Aaliyah collection as I am a huge fan! Thanks to M.A.C. for finally making this happen. I got early access and purchased the entire collection. However, this "Bronzing" Powder was quite disappointing. As most have said, it is not very pigmented and does not show up on medium - darker skin tones. I agree with the reviewers who said this would not have appeared well on a skin tone like Aaliyah's. I am an NC40 and contrary to some, this cannot be used as a highlight. It just shows up as a few faint glitter specs on the face. This powder is totally unusable for me. However, I really do love the packaging. The only reason I did not return it is because I wanted to support M.A.C. for this colab even though they got this "Bronzer" all wrong. Maybe they can TRY AGAIN with an Aaliyah 2.0 Collection and make a real bronzer for WOC.

Mixed emotions

Ok, so the pros are that I'm a fairly pale white woman and this will be a great year-round color for me because it isn't very dark at all. The cons are that all the above is true and this is supposed to be a product for and inspired by women of color. So, yeah, I love the product and color but the marketing is total fail.

Girl..

I'm a fairy pale person and this "bronzer" barely shows up on me. I expected it (and hoped) to be way deeper since it's inspired by Aaliyah, and I expected it to at least be POC friendly, if not all inclusive. I mean, you could've had two shades to at least try to include people. I'm white and it doesn't really show up at all on me. It's a faint dusting of color. Pretty disappointing. I did expect more for her collection as a whole. The lip products are good but that's about it. The eyeshadow palette is the tiniest thing I've ever seen. And to be real, the packaging was lack luster too. Overall, really wish you honored her better.
