A circular, large stipple brush that lightly applies and blends face powders, liquids and creams. This duo-fibre brush has ultra-wispy ends with a denser core for sheer application.

    • Natural and airbrushed-looking finish, controlled application of products, expertly engineered with high-grade synthetic fibers that are resistant to breakage
    • Non-porous fibers that are easy to clean, made with nickel-plated brass ferrules and multi-lacquered wood handles
    • HOW TO USE:
    • Apply powders, liquids and creams by either stippling, whisking, sweeping or swirling the product onto skin to create a natural and airbrushed-looking finish.
    • CARING TIPS: Proper care will maintain the integrity and quality of the bristles so they continue to deliver perfectly consistent results over time.
    • Daily Care: Clean brushes using a soft cloth or a towel dampened with MAC Brush Cleanser. Gently wipe brush head over the cloth until all makeup has been removed.
    • Weekly Care: Wash brushes using MAC Brush Cleanser and warm water.
    • Wet the head, making sure the brush head is pointed downward to prevent water from seeping into the barrel, as you gently massage the fibers lightly with your fingers – working toward the tip. Rinse well.
    • Carefully squeeze excess water from the brush head, wipe on a soft towel and gently arrange fibers back into their original shape. Lay flat on a fresh towel and allow brush to dry naturally. Do not stand up or use until completely dry.

Loosing bristles

I bought the brush under the suggestion of the assistant in Mac Norwich, I had gone in for the 170, which was out of stock. I don't find this brush that easy to work with but persevered, then I started to notice the bristles coming out as I use it. It's so annoying as I wish I'd got the 170 .

Multipurpose brush

This brush is amazing and is a multi tasking brush. From applying primer, to liquid, to cream blush, to powder. I can use both sizes to get every part of my face. Wish I got this brush sooner before collecting the other MAC brushes. Application is beautiful and make sure to cleanse brush often.

Good for bronzers and highlight

I love using stipple brushes to gently apply pigmented powder products. this seamlessly blends my bronzer on and makes sure i'm not applying too much. i also love this for highlighting - it gives me that 'lit from within' glow

Sheds & Hard to Clean

I use this brush mostly for my Mineralize Skin Finish & I just recently started using it for my Face & Body. The biggest issue is that is sheds so bad, which is horrible for me b/c I have a phobia of hair, so having the left over hair from the brush all over my face makes my flesh crawl. Also, the brush does not pick up and apply enough product to my face, I feel it wastes product because it spreads it around and you have to use more.

It's a love/not so love relationship

Been using this brush for years and after a little while yes it does shed. It is disappointing and expensive. I also clean it with the MAC cleaner. Considering this, the price should reflect that or maybe it is time to move on to a different brush altogether.

I see many negative reviews about this product, but this has been my favorite brush (for applying bronzer and blush ) over 15 years. I never use this for cream or liquid though.

The Brush Does Shed

I loved this brush when I first purchased it, but it shed after I cleaned it with MAC Brush Cleaner. The store I purchased it at is no longer open.

Brush sheds

I have 6 or so different MAC brushes, but this brush is the most disappointing brush purchase. I have used it here and there for a few years but now I rarely use it because of its constant shedding. I take great care of all my brushes with the Mac cleaner but this brush just sheds on every use regardless of the product used in the application. I think the trash bin will be the only use for it now. So disappointed.
