I WOULD (AND HAVE) BOUGHT THIS JEAN OVER AND OVER!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This, along with the Emma bootcut, is my favorite jean - a nice high and fairly straight cut waist for those of us of a "certain age" that have filled out in the waist, but still have relatively slim rear ends, thighs, and legs! The larger, lower-placed back pockets are so much more flattering than the small, high ones on other plus-size brands - they make this 64 year old woman look and feel much younger. I wear a 14 plus in this jean vs. a 16 regular in most pants - other plus brands don't usually size down enough for me, or cut to fit middle aged bodies. Some of my Emma bootcut styles have front pockets, and I would like to see them added to all styles, but I can live without them for the fit! PLEASE don't stop offering these jeans, and make sure you offer them in non-ripped styles for those of us looking for an all-around great jean!

I Love Lucky Brand!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What is not to love with Lucky Brand clothing. I always am very pleased with the free 2 day shipping. I am always adding to my collection of Lucky Brand clothing. I really feel that just because I am plus size doesn't mean that I can feel or look good. When I wear Lucky Brand clothes I feel great. These jeans have a little bit of stretch but not to much like some other brands where it gets to baggy that it's too loose

I wanted to like them ...
But I just can't like jeans that aren't a nice thick denim AND have front pockets. I thought I could work around not having front pockets but it is the most frustrating thing since that it s where my cell often goes when I am out and about. I don't trust it in my back pocket. If there is no front pockets, don't give me the front stitching or the pocket material inside ... bad design and bad jeans. They are more of a jegging which I despise.

I love Lucky jeans but why are there no more 16w straight jeans being sold? I can't wear leggings. Bring back the 16w straight jeans!

The best jeans I've found so far
I bought 2 pairs of these jeans a year and a half ago and wore them pretty much every single day, and they just now wore out between the legs. They didn't bag out in the knees or the butt so I could wear them for as long as I wanted in between washes. They felt like real jeans, yet still had some stretch for comfort. They faded quite a bit the first few washes but largely held their color after that as a medium blue. Super impressed with the fabrication and quality. The fit is pretty good. The legs are cut too long which makes the fit a little off and sometimes drags the crotch down, and they fit like skinny jeans around my muscular calves - perhaps due to the too-long cut. But they mostly stay up and stay in place which a lot of other jeans don't. The one downfall is the lack of front pockets, which even a year-and-a-half later is still annoying. So annoying that I am thinking twice about re-buying these otherwise great jeans.
