Logic Cast Iron 8" Skillet
Product Details
Web ID: 798621Great skillet, would pair with the Lodge 12".
It's a great skillet when you're only cooking a small amount of food that doesn't warrant needing a large skillet. My husband and I got this as a gift from our wedding registry, and we love using it. I would highly recommend adding this and the larger Lodge 12" skillet to fulfill your frying pan needs, because unless you have a large family, these 2 skillets and 2-3 pots of your choosing will meet all of your needs no problem without you having to waste more money buying a large set of lower quality pots and pans.
Great Quality
Really like this product , seems it will last a lifetime. It is durable and holds heat really well
Superior Quality
What a wonderful addition to my kitchen. I have begun to use it exclusively I'm sooooo happy with it's performance. It couldn't be sturdier. Highly recommend.
Long Overdue
These are great cast iron skillets and best of all, still made in the U.S.A. and great pricing!
Lodge Cast-Iron Skillets are a MUST HAVE!
Aside from the AWESOME facts that this great company makes their basic cast-iron products mostly in the USA, they are pre-seasoned so that you may start cooking right away, and they have been around for SO long, Lodge Cast-Iron Skillets are such high quality. The 8-inch is perfect for breakfast or something grilled for two. Because it is smaller, it heats up quickly and more evenly. You must have some kind of oven mitt or handle cover to use with this because it is completely cast-iron and the heat will move into the handle as well after heating. Also, the 8-inch is convenient because it is lighter and easier to handle. We have a large 13.25-inch one and I can barely lift it with a single hand. Lastly, don't let the maintenance scare you away from owning one of these things. Follow instructions on how to keep it seasoned. It's easy! After cooking, just scrape it out, let it cool, rinse with water and scrub with a plastic bristled brush (NO SOAP! NO ABRASIVES!). Wipe dry with a paper towel or rag, then you coat it lightly with some oil (we prefer olive oil), wipe the excess out, and VOILA! It is ready to be cooked upon once more! Beautiful product and I highly recommend!!!!
