Storytime comes to life with the easy to use little tikes story dream machine. Children can watch, listen, and read along to their favorite stories.This unique, fun experience develops beginning reading skills and word recognition and will get kids excited about reading. Includes 3 little golden book stories - the poky little puppy, tawny scrawny lion, and the saggy baggy elephant and the poky little puppy character that creates more light effects in nightlight mode. Colorful lights and sound effects help each story magically unfold. The recommended projection distance is 2' to 6'. It's also easy to pack up and bring along. Store cartridges in the slots on the side of the projector. Save the package to take the story dream machine on the go, as it includes space for additional storage and a carrying handle. It's perfect for sleepovers or trips with the kids. When it's bedtime, it doubles as a white noise nightlight to help children fall asleep. Dream Machine makes Story Time fun again!

I have three grandchildren ages 6, 5, and 3 and they all have been enjoying story time with the Dream Machine. They take the machine into their play hut and make it special time.

My kids love this

I love it, my kids are fascinated with this, it's easy to clean, the product is super innovative, it has excellent quality and therefore I think it will last a long time.

Great at first

Great, at first. Eventually, several of the story tapes would not rotate or the audio was not synced with the story picture. Liked it otherwise.

So fun

My son loves this! We do too. We read to him every night, but sometimes, as a teacher, my voice is very tired, so it’s nice to have a story or two in addition to our book rotation! I will say that I do have to adjust the focus quite often with certain books. Some books are clearer than others and stay a bit more focused. The best books are the Fraggle ones imo.

Quickly became my son’s favorite toy.

My son absolutely loves the Little Tikes Story Dream Machine! He takes it with him everywhere—it’s quickly become his favorite toy. I love that it reminds me of the old View Master, but with a fun modern twist. We typically lay with him as he’s watching them and he will watch about two or three before he falls asleep holding it. I love that. It also function as a sound and light machine, but he has yet to use that feature. He prefers just listening to the stories. At just four years old, he’s already figured out how to change the cassettes on his own. He’s a little tinkerer who loves understanding how things work, so he’s always exploring it—and so far, it’s held up beautifully with no issues. We’ve built up a nice collection of stories since we got it and plan to keep adding more as new ones come out. It’s been such a fun and imaginative addition to our home.
