Storytime comes to life with the easy to use little tikes story dream machine. Children can watch, listen, and read along to their favorite stories.This unique, fun experience develops beginning reading skills and word recognition and will get kids excited about reading. Includes 3 little golden book stories - the poky little puppy, tawny scrawny lion, and the saggy baggy elephant and the poky little puppy character that creates more light effects in nightlight mode. Colorful lights and sound effects help each story magically unfold. The recommended projection distance is 2' to 6'. It's also easy to pack up and bring along. Store cartridges in the slots on the side of the projector. Save the package to take the story dream machine on the go, as it includes space for additional storage and a carrying handle. It's perfect for sleepovers or trips with the kids. When it's bedtime, it doubles as a white noise nightlight to help children fall asleep. A bedtime must have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little thing is amazing! It was perfect for the camper at bedtime. The way it shines on the wall makes it even more fun for the kids. I wasn't expecting the picture to show up so well, so I was pleasantly surprised. This is definitely going to be used over and over as a nightine ritual.

Need screen time break? Look no further

I brought this a couple of months ago along with extra books and my children absolutely love it. It’s a great way to spend time with the family and it has become apart of our nightly bedtime routine

Too loud when switching slides for toddler!

Bought for my toddler but we aren't sure whether to love or hate this product. My toddler loves the "movies" as she calls them. The stories are cute and my daughter loves the sesame street stories especially! However there is a terrible grinding like noise when the slides change that scares her! Not sure why it is so loud. If it's messing up or if it's supposed to be loud. If it's supposed to be loud they need to fix this issue!

The noise that you hear when it is turning the "pages" of the book may sound like a grinding noise, but this is the gears locating the next page of the book.

Magical and fun

Fun but did not last

Kids loved this but it stopped working after a few uses. Now every time we put a story in, it starts and doesn’t make it past the first couple of slides. Just flashes red as if there’s some type of error. Disappointing because we just bought a bunch of extra stories for it.

Not just a projector

New addition to our night time routine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Story Dream Machine is the perfect projector to aid in your night time routine or entertain your family! It’s so versatile along with the variety of stories that it can tell. My son has carried it with him from our kitchen to our living room to the bedroom! Wherever there is a wall, he has a story time! And as much I love reading to him, it’s also nice to be able to sit back and relax and have someone read to me as well.
