This set is fantastic in every way. My father and I have wanted to get a perfect train for around our Christmas tree for years. What better than a Lionel Polar Express? This set is such a tremendous value for what you get. Upon opening the box, we were thrilled to discover that the train came with a copy of The Polar Express movie and Santa's sleigh bell. The Berkshire locomotive is one of my favorite designs and I was super happy to be able to get an affordable version for around our tree. Lionel has been such a coveted brand in my family for generations. From upscale pre- and postwar locomotives, to the modern ready-to-run sets around your Christmas tree, they're all special in their own right and have a place in any train enthusiast's collection.

Very Nice Set but……
Very solid, durable well packaged. It will be a real hit this Christmas. But….paid extra for this Bluetooth version and when I try to download the software to my Samsung Galaxy a42 I get a message that says the Lionchief software was designed for an older android version and is not compatible with my phone. Had I known, I would have ordered the less expensive version that comes with a controller. Fortunately I have an iPad and the software works with that so the grandkids won’t be disappointed when they get here. This would be a 5 star review if the software was compatible with all Bluetooth devices.

Polar Express Train-Battery Operated
First of all, I ordered the train on 12/14--2 days after the deadline for it to be delivered by Christmas. I figured it would come afterwards--but I was shocked when it came on the 23rd! Hurray! Thank you, Lionel! The train was a HUGE hit;believe it or not, it was for my husband because he loves trains and we've always had one under the tree, until ours died a couple of years ago. Plus he loves the movie Polar Express! Our grandchildren absolutely loved it and now all the kids/grandkids want one.That will make Christmas easier next year!

Terrible piece
This is a terrible train. The tracks come lose easily. The train doesn’t stay attached and as it’s going around the track comes lose as well. This was a terrible purchase.
