Disappointed with short working life

I loved my air purifier until it unexpectedly stopped working overnight. It was purchased in Sept. 2020 so has lasted for nearly 3 years. After reading product reviews from so many people who experienced the same issue after 2 - 3 years of operation guess I need to add that I've had the same experience. It seems like the product was designed with a 2 year shelf life. It's very disappointing. I was considering purchasing another Levoit product but now think I'll try another company.

Product died after less than a year

Product died after less than a year. Nice while it lasted but it's too expensive to replace knowing it will fail again.

Wow. Joining the Club

I purchased this air purifier in 2020 and just like many of the other reviews here, it stopped working after 2yrs. I guess I should feel lucky, mine almost made it to 3yrs, but fell short by several weeks. That's sad to say, especially after I had just purchased a bundle of replacement filters. I regularly changed my filters, kept the unit clean, and recently, when I tried to turn it on, there was power, but no response. I followed all of the recommended troubleshooting tips, and nothing. The light came on, but the touch screen would not work at all. It was great while it lasted and I really liked this purifier; but, I am very hesitant to purchase another of the same brand after seeing so many negative reviews with the same results.

Do not buy anything Levoit

We bought 4 all are dead within 1-2 years. Avoid products from Levoit simple as that. Red light or does not even turn on. All died around the same time. Some have red light, some no light - pure garbage.

Expensive garbage do not buy

Fixed the power issue myself open up case cut the cold from power supply to the control panel and splice the two outer wires together, fixed problem gets fan spinning when u plug in and out

Product fails after 2 years

Like most people this product worked for a bit over 2 years. I unplugged it and changed the filters and then it wouldn’t come back on. The control panel stopped working and multiple lights were on. I had just purchased a multipack of filters as well.

Works great! And traps gnats too.

I had this air purifier for 4 months now and I love it. We have 2 other purifiers and this is by far the quietest. I have it set in the 2nd speed and placed near our drafty door. Replacing the filter clearly shows how much of the Vegas dust it picks up. Add bonus: we had a gnat infestation with the purchase of a new plant. This air purifier sucked those gnats right in and captured them in the filter. And the filter is so easy to change.

Stopped working.

Stopped working. I changed the filters, cleaned the sensor lens, and pressed rhe reset button for 3 seconds. But the "change filter" light is still on, and the unit will not start. LOTS of people are reporting the same problem. Do not buy.
