Beautiful color and fabric but runs large

Beautiful color, deep golden orange. Soft material with stretch. I'm 5'4" and these hit about 1-2 inches above my ankles. These fit large. They are very high rise, falling just below the belly button. Ordered a size 8 (29) which is a consistent size for me, but there is a lot of extra room in the waist (crotch region and pocket area) along with the waistband (about a 2 inch gap). These also have a large traditional Levi's label on the back waistband, which is kind of unsightly and not ideal. They do come a bit wrinkled, but perhaps steam or cool-ironing will help. They are an attractive pant, but I'll be returning for a smaller size to see if that helps with the waist issues.
