Disappointed Jeans leg too short

I bought two of these jeans 20W and after a couple of washes the pants leg shrinks and it looks like high waters. I am so disappointed.

classic? jeans, formerly 414s

The price is right. The fabric seems to be thinner and more synthetic over cotton than before. I bought the same size I had and while they fit, they seem tight. I guess my old ones are really stretched out The thing is I lost 25 pounds over the last few months, so I almost ordered a size smaller. Good thing I didn't.
